Yes, I suppose you're right... I didn't really expect her to lash out quite like this.

There's a land of the dead, but I do wonder if they haven't already looked there. Still, it'd be logical for her to at least have gone there, or not logical at all, depending on how well she's thinking. Either way, if someone you treasure is dead, why wouldn't you go there? Might be a starting point.

A good starting point, but I'm not so sure. If she was looking to go somewhere her family wouldn't find her, I'm not sure she'd go somewhere where they'd look.

Also, we should get Theta and...Sexy into this.

[sigh] It is going to take a while for me to get used to calling her that. I feel like a letch every time I say it.

You could always use "old girl" if you'd rather, I'm sure she wouldn't mind.

Anyway, plans. It feels odd to be wanting to make plans, but with what Asgard has stripped from me, it seems to me like it would be a bad idea to simply run headlong into this.

We shouldn't go alone, but...who do we bring along? Knowing the companions we normally pick up, I have a feeling all of them will insist.

They would. Rory might not be entirely inclined to, he prefers sticking here and looking after that clinic he works at. But Theta and Sexy definitely, probably River, definitely Rose, Jamie and Oswin. So, the question is more... Do we want to bring all of them or not?

I'm...not sure I'm the one to ask such a thing. I don't have the greatest track record.

I would offer to stay and keep an eye out for the companions that we could convince to stay, but with as dangerous as Odin seems to be hinting this project is, I think perhaps we might need as many Doctors as possible on this trip.

And frankly, if they insist, how exactly are we going to stop them? We could opt not to tell them, but someone will if we don't, or they'll find out on their own, and they'll try to follow us in. It might be better to just let those who insist come along. At least then we have an eye on them from the start.

Yeah, I think you're right. Oswin and Rose would probably kill me if I left without telling them again, anyway.

[He gives a small grin.]

I haven't met Oswin yet, but I have "met" Rose, if only in her dreams. She made me promise not to make any decisions for her. So, yes, I think she'd definitely kill us.

That would be her.

She met us in our ninth, got left behind in our tenth.
